Following careers in classical music, the theatre and in education, Andrew who is English and Björg who is Icelandic have worked together as translators for over ten years. Their translations include works by writers such as Guðmundur Andri Thorsson, Kristín Helga Gunnarsdóttir, Vilborg Davíðsdóttir, Gerður Kristný, Kristín Marja Baldursdóttir and Andri Snær Magnason to name but a few. Their translation of Magnason’s The Casket of Time was selected for the USBBY outstanding international books list in 2020.
